Welcome to SoccerViza ("we," "our," or "us"). SoccerViza is a soccer development program based in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, Costa Rica, operated by SoccerViza and its founders Giuseppe ("Joe") Funicello and Cecilia Lihv. We have helped place 400+ players into professional opportunities across 30+ countries since 2012. By using soccerviza.com or participating in our soccer development programs, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or participating in any SoccerViza program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services. Your continued use of our website or programs constitutes acceptance of these terms.

2. Our Services

SoccerViza provides soccer development programs, consultations, placement assistance, and educational content through our website and programs. Our services include:

• Individual and group coaching consultations
• Program registration and placement assistance
• Video evaluation and feedback
• Educational content, blog posts, and resources
• Connections with clubs, scouts, and professional networks

Important: SoccerViza does not guarantee placement in professional or collegiate clubs, trials, or contracts. Success depends on individual player performance, market conditions, visa status, club availability, and many other factors beyond our control. Results vary based on skill level, work ethic, timing, and international market conditions.

3. Eligibility

To participate in SoccerViza programs, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old.
• If under 18, have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Be legally eligible to travel internationally if your program involves overseas placement or training.
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and application.

4. Program Registration & Fees

Program fees, payment terms, and cancellation/refund policies vary by program and are communicated to you during registration. Payment is processed through third-party payment processors including Stripe and PayPal. We do not store full credit card details on our servers.

Cancellation and refund policies are specific to each program and will be outlined at the time of registration. Contact info@soccerviza.com with questions about your program's policies.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Misuse our website or services for unlawful purposes.
• Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information about yourself, your playing history, or your credentials.
• Misrepresent your soccer experience, achievements, or eligibility to participate in programs.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, staff, or our partners.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
• Use our website to collect personal information about others without consent.

Violation of these conduct rules may result in suspension or termination of your account and participation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on soccerviza.com, including text, images, videos, graphics, logos, and branding ("Content"), is owned by SoccerViza or our content partners and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content without written permission from SoccerViza.

7. Player Content

By submitting highlight videos, photos, performance data, testimonials, or any other materials to SoccerViza ("Player Content"), you grant SoccerViza a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and share that content with clubs, scouts, coaches, and professional networks for the purpose of evaluating and placing you in opportunities.

You retain ownership of your Player Content. If you wish to remove your Player Content from our systems or request that we stop sharing it, please email info@soccerviza.com with your request.

8. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including YouTube, social media platforms, clubs' websites, and sports organizations. SoccerViza is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or policies of third-party sites. Your use of third-party links is at your own risk and subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies before sharing your information.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SoccerViza provides its services "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Our services will result in professional placement, trials, or contracts.
• Participation will guarantee any specific outcome or opportunity.
• Our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Any defects in our services will be corrected.

Football and soccer careers involve inherent uncertainty, market competition, injury risk, and factors beyond anyone's control. We make no guarantees about your soccer future.

10. Limitation of Liability

SoccerViza is not liable for:

• Injuries sustained during training, matches, or travel related to our programs.
• Incidents or disputes with clubs, coaches, or other players.
• Visa denials, work permit issues, or immigration complications.
• Loss of income, opportunities, or professional advancement.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.

Participants acknowledge that competitive football involves physical risk and agree to assume all risks associated with participation. By participating, you agree that SoccerViza shall not be held liable for any injuries or losses.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Costa Rica in accordance with Costa Rican law.

12. Changes to Terms

SoccerViza may update these Terms of Service from time to time without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or prominent site notice. Your continued use of our website or programs after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
