After attending the SoccerViza Pro Development Center in Costa Rica, Montesinos was recommended to and signed for Olimpia Satu Mare in January 2024. Leo signed for Hong Kong Rangers FC in the Hong Kong Premier League before returning to play for Olimpia Satu Mare in Liga III.
