David Nkansah-Siriboe has been invited to Spartak Trnava for a trial after a good showing at SoccerViza’s Pro Scouting Tour.
I am looking forward to experiencing both the football and culture of Slovakia,” said Siriboe. “This is a huge opportunity and I am excited to see to see my level in comparison to the players at this top club.”
Spartak Trnava, also known as the Bili Aneli’s (the White Angels), also have a decorated history. They’ve won the Czechoslovak First League five times and the Czechoslovak Cup four times. They’ve made multiple appearances in the UEFA Champions League and currently sit fifth in the top tier of Slovakia’s football league – Fortuna Liga.
“Soccerviza was not only a great, stress-free platform for players to express their football ability, but it was also a great learning platform as well,” said Siriboe. “Joe, along with the amazing staff, constantly provided invaluable insight concerning the market and industry of the football world. I received a lot of in-match critique to improve my effectiveness during the matches.”
Siriboe has trialed in Spain before and his mentality this time around is different.
“This time around, I have been spending a lot of my time practicing my religion because it's my ultimate source of motivation and strength. I’ve accompanied that with loads of time spent with the ball and working on things that can separate me and cause me to stand out on the pitch. I believe this time around, I am more knowledgeable when it comes to navigating European spaces and have a deep sense of clarity ahead of the trial.”
