With SoccerViza Founder Joe Funicello accepting the role of head coach at BI/Bolungarvik, Christopher McCollum has replaced him in the office of Player and Team Relations, and will be the scouting company’s lead in moving players abroad.
Christopher has been with the company since 2014, acting first in the capacity of Public Relations and Lead Writer, before moving into the position of Player and Team Relations this year.
In this new position, Christopher has taken charge of scouting and identifying players for potential placement with professional clubs around the world.
He has previously placed players with Queretaro FC in Mexico, Stallion FC in the Philippines, KuPS, FC KTP, FF Jaro, and GBK in Finland, as well as numerous teams in the Icelandic and American markets.
So far in the 2015/16 winter transfer window, Christopher has arranged for 20 players to go on trial and negotiated for six contracts, including SoccerViza’s first ever female client. With eight trials currently ongoing in the United States, Finland, and Iceland, it stands to be one of the most successful winter transfers window yet for SoccerViza.
SoccerViza’s next combine season will kick off for the 2016 summer transfer window in Toronto, Ontario from June 6-8.
