Olimpia Satu Mare and SoccerViza Scout Standout Talents at Path2Pro Combine

Olimpia Satu Mare is pleased to report that Assistant Coach Evran Akman has identified three promising talents during his recent attendance at the Path2Pro Combine in California. The event, known for showcasing aspiring players seeking professional opportunities, proved fruitful as Akman singled out Charlie Lawrence, Edson Alvarado, and Jamison Ping as standout prospects.

Charlie Lawrence: English-born Charlie Lawrence, a midfielder currently honing his craft at the University of Michigan, displayed poise, vision, and technical prowess throughout the combine. A player who thrives on dictating the tempo and creating opportunities, Lawrence left a lasting impression.

“Charlie has a sharp footballing brain and technical ability that truly set him apart. He’s a midfielder who can control a game, and his potential is evident,” said Coach Akman.

Edson Alvarado: Edson Alvarado, an attacking midfielder from Irvine Zeta FC, showcased flair, creativity, and a keen eye for breaking down opposition defences. His experience in competitive football was evident, as he demonstrated maturity on the ball and sharp decision-making.

Akman commented, “Edson was a standout performer. He possesses the qualities necessary to excel at the professional level, and I believe he has a bright future ahead.”

Jamison Ping: At just 16 years old, Jamison Ping proved to be one of the more intriguing prospects at the combine. Previously affiliated with Phoenix Rising FC on an academy contract, the young talent exhibited composure and potential beyond his years.

“Jamison is a raw talent with significant promise,” Akman observed. “With the right guidance and development, he has the tools to become a top player within a couple of years. Coaching him was a pleasure, and he’s a player to keep an eye on.”

All three players may join Olimpia for preseason this January and February, where they will have the opportunity to integrate with the squad and further showcase their abilities.

Reflecting on the combine, Akman remarked, “Charlie and Edson emerged as clear standouts, earning themselves offers from Olimpia. Meanwhile, Jamison, though younger, displayed qualities that suggest he could be something special in the future. Identifying players like these reinforces the importance of casting the net wide in search of talent.”

The club is excited about the potential of these players and looks forward to what the future holds for them.
